Supply Chain Week recognizes the vital role that supply chain professionals play in growing BC’s economy and ensuring the continuous movement of goods and services across industries through economic uncertainty, global disruptions, and technological change.

In celebration of the Province of British Columbia’s official proclamation of Supply Chain Week, Supply Chain Canada invites you to an exclusive event that brings together government leaders, business executives, Indigenous partners, academics, and supply chain professionals to explore essential issues affecting our supply chains.
BC SUPPLY CHAIN SUMMIT

The Supply Chain Summit will explore three key themes critical to British Columbia’s future:

Economic forecasts, pressure points, and the strategic importance of supply chains in enabling business continuity and competitiveness

  • The Future of the Supply Chain Profession

A forward-looking panel featuring industry leaders on how education, innovation, and collaboration will shape the talent pipeline of tomorrow.

  • Driving Supply Chain Influence

Supply chain professionals interact with stakeholders who have very different priorities: CFOs focus on financial outcomes; CEOs and Boards focus on strategy and risk; sustainability leaders focus on emissions and policy; operations leaders focus on continuity and performance; and suppliers focus on commercial opportunity. Yet we often communicate the same information in the same way to every audience.

The session will demonstrate how supply chain professionals can customize their communication to translate procurement and supply-chain initiatives into the outcomes that matter most to each stakeholder.

Judith Bosire is Chief Economist at Vancity, where she translates BC’s economic landscape into practical insights for households, businesses, and communities.

With 16+ years of experience across government, consulting, and cooperative finance, Judith has worked with governments, businesses, and Indigenous communities across Canada. She previously served as Director of Pan-Territorial Services and Partnerships with the Federal Government in Nunavut.

Judith is also a strong advocate for economic inclusion, serving on the boards of the Black Entrepreneurs & Businesses of Canada Society and the Foundation for Black Communities, among other advisory roles.

Originally from Kenya, Judith brings a global perspective and a passion for understanding how economic forces shape opportunities for diverse communities.
